THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX … OR BASKET!
Sometimes I love the unusual and nontraditional. When thoughts turn to a Easter décor, shades of pastel blue, pink and green come to mind. And while I love that traditional look, I wanted to shake it up a bit for this elegant Easter dinner table. There’s not a smidge of pastel anywhere to be found on this table. When pulling a dramatic look like this together, the key Is to keep it understated. Less is more. For this tablescape, I limited the palate to three colors: white, black and green. By showing some restraint, you can create a striking and dramatic aesthetic.
REPETITION AND SIMPLICITY ARE KEYS TO MODERN DESIGN …
Repetition of the simple floral arrangements adds to this table’s refined elegance. In addition, it also is great for those who are novices at flower arranging. By simply pairing large Fuji or Spider mums with green berries, you can easily create a minimalistic look that makes your design look like it was created by a professional florist.
I find myself using the black cube vases, time and time again. They were truly a great investment and are available here.
The refined bread and butter plates featuring root vegetables are part of the Noritake Kyoka Shunsai Five-piece Place Set. Their simplicity adds a subtle nod to spring in a sophisticated fashion. The set is available at Target.
CHOOSE MODERN ACCESSORIES …
I love the look these angular white porcelain bunnies add to the table. They are just chic and a great understated way to bring Easter to the tablescape.
